It is OK if you have a bus other than Kichijoji 11 lines. By the way it is from the South Exit. Please get off at the Shimbashin stop!
It will be lost as soon as it is baked, so you can eat baked goods almost all the time. I am grilling without baking.
As a German I have to be very strict of bread, but Toho Bakery makes bread I approve of. The selection is quite exotic from a western perspective.Best buy is definitely the Giant Boo, a kind of Hotdog. Try it if you go there.
GOOD****
Great bread!
Food here is ok, we picked a random selection (as we couldn't read any of the labels), some things were tasty, some were a little odd (potato salad pizza?). It's very busy inside, but there is seating outside that was totally empty. Most people get food to go.
Worth the experience for these strawberry pastries alone! Also tried several others, each one was amazing!
For Brits accustomed to the best of European baking, this is a very mediocre bakery, but I understand that it's a different context here. Be warned though - maybe avoid the pizza if you don't fancy a potato and mayo filling.
I visited the shop because I knew there was curry bread that won the highest gold medal.First of all, when you bite a bit, you hear a crisp sound from the skin. From the inside, ingredients such as slightly thick beef appeared. Lou is sweet.I also ate the gold medal curry bread at other stores, but I still felt that the highest gold medal was tastier.
Delicious Japanese style baked goods. Very busy and tasty
Pastries are tasty and well made. prices are mediocre to expensive. packed to go, but nice place outside to eat.
Their chocolate covered round croissant with chocolate cream in the middle and chocolate chunks is incredible. Garlic bread, incredible. Ham, egg, and cheese bread (way more complex than I’m describing it), incredible. The savory stew pastry is...incredible. The cinnamon donut was incredible yesterday but not very good today—so they need to work on consistency in some respects, but this place had a (quickly moving) line of 20-30 people out the door the entire time we were there (Saturday). Much less busy on a weekday but just as tasty. Come here!!!
There's always alot of people here which says alot about how good the bread is here😊
The best bakery in town, lots of variations with local touch.
We arrived early for a Ghibli museum tour and decided to find some food while waiting. It's just south of the museum and well worth the walk. Everyone in our party grabbed a few pastries and shared. Outstanding food, highly recommended
Great bakery! Love it! Fantastic selection!
Great yummy bakery goods. Could smell the bread from the studio Ghibli museum
the best! I never liked japanese bread until I ran into this bakery!
Curry bread was amazing🤤🤤🤤
A popular bakery in Mitaka!I was expecting it because it was well received by word of mouth. It's delicious, but it wasn't so impressive.I am happy that I can eat freshly baked bread 😊
The best bakery stuff I had in Japan was from here :')
